Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote beverage sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and assisting with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods and special events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry; fine dining or banquet experience is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
