Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of specialty drinks and menu items. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and handling cash safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and responsible beverage service policies. Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to excite returning guests and attract new patrons. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; communicate needs for restocking or ordering. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions. Skills Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient order processing. Proven experience in mixology with a strong understanding of cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, and spirits expertise. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Strong time management skills to prioritize duties during high-volume periods without compromising quality. Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Experience working in fine dining establishments or hospitality environments that demand professionalism and attention to detail. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry transactions.
