Full-Time / Part-Time Kuleana Rum Works is looking for an experienced, guest-focused bartender with strong bar knowledge and craft cocktail experience to join our hospitality team. We are seeking a bartender who understands both craft and service — someone who can execute cocktails with precision, speak confidently about spirits, support a high-standard bar program, and help create a memorable guest experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, rum, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages according to Kuleana Rum Works standards Execute craft cocktails with consistency, accuracy, speed, and attention to detail Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to bar guests Represent the Kuleana brand with pride, professionalism, and product knowledge Maintain strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, bar tools, ingredients, garnishes, and proper technique Support guest education around Kuleana Rum Works offerings when appropriate Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar station Follow all alcohol service, safety, sanitation, and cash-handling standards Communicate clearly with managers, bartenders, bar backs, rumbassadors, and other FOH team members Support retail, bottle, tour, and rum club sales opportunities when appropriate Assist with opening, closing, restocking, prep, and side work duties Help create a positive, accountable, team-focused work environment Qualifications Previous bartending experience required Craft cocktail experience strongly preferred Strong working knowledge of spirits, cocktail preparation, bar technique, and guest service Ability to make drinks efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency Comfort discussing rum, cocktails, and beverage options with guests Excellent communication skills and professional presence Ability to stay calm, organized, and attentive during busy service Team-oriented attitude with respect for service standards and role clarity Dependable, punctual, and committed to hospitality Must meet all legal requirements for alcohol service Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Ideal Candidate The ideal bartender has a genuine respect for craft cocktails, spirits, and hospitality.
