Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, interacting with customers, and ensuring a clean and welcoming bar environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be crucial in delivering a memorable experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations. Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash transactions and processing payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including equipment, glassware, and utensils. Upsell drinks and menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving drinks. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Experience with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and garnishing methods is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
