Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with precision and flair, utilizing knowledge of mixology and beverage recipes. Take accurate food and drink orders from guests, ensuring prompt and friendly service while maintaining high standards of hospitality. Operate POS system Shift 4 to process cash transactions efficiently and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest wine or craft beer pairings to enhance guest experience. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and tracking sales using retail math skills. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries about menu items, and creating a lively atmosphere suitable for both fine dining and nightlife settings. Requirements Proven experience in bartending or serving within the hospitality industry; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Demonstrated expertise in mixology, spirits, wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and beverage recipe development. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Food safety certification or knowledge of proper food handling practices is preferred. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing. Experience with catering or food service operations is a plus; familiarity with hospitality industry standards is essential.
