Job Description
Nonprofit is seeking a responsible, trustworthy, individual with previous horse care experience to care for a small herd of horses. Day & Overnight shifts available (preference will be given to those who can work weekends). Part-time and potential full-time availability. We are hiring for our Harvard Farm (approximately 30 horses). Care includes but is not limited to: checking on horses throwing hay checking water locking and unlocking farms sorting hay (must be able to lift at least 50lbs) administering medications (oral, IV/IM) and first aid as needed maintaining cleanliness of barn Sleeping at farm house is required for scheduled overnight shifts only. No personal animals allowed (unless service animal). Overnight shifts are 8:45PM
- 10:15PM and 5:30AM
- 6:30AM (paid for hours working). Daytime shifts are 6:45AM
- 4PM.
Job type:
Farm Hand, General Labor An employee's pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We, in good faith, believe we will pay for this role at the time of this posting. However, we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.Pay:
$16.00- $20.
