Day shifts, weekdays and weekends as needed Job Description Chances Bar is looking for a dependable daytime bartender to join our team. This position is a mix of bartending, guest service, cleaning, stocking, prep work, and inventory support. The daytime bartender plays an important role in setting the bar up for success. During the week, many liquor, beer, food, and supply orders arrive during the day, so we need someone who is organized, responsible, and able to help receive deliveries, check products in, stock items properly, and communicate with management. This is a great position for someone who enjoys bartending but also understands that daytime shifts require more behind-the-scenes work. The right person will take pride in keeping the bar clean, stocked, organized, and ready for the night shift. Responsibilities Serve guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner Prepare and serve beer, cocktails, shots, and other beverages Provide a welcoming bar experience for regulars and new guests Handle cash, credit card transactions, tabs, and basic register duties Keep the bar clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift Complete daytime cleaning tasks, including counters, coolers, shelves, sinks, glassware areas, service stations, and guest areas Restock liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, paper products, and bar supplies Prep garnishes, juices, syrups, mixes, and other items needed for night service Receive and help organize weekday deliveries Assist with inventory counts and product rotation Check deliveries for accuracy and report missing, damaged, or incorrect items to management Break down boxes, organize storage areas, and keep back-of-house areas clean Help prepare the bar for evening staff and busy night shifts Follow all alcohol service laws, food safety rules, and company procedures Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen staff, bartenders, and servers Complete opening, shift-change, and side-work checklists Qualifications Prior bartending or bar/restaurant experience preferred Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy Must be comfortable working independently during slower daytime hours Able to lift and move cases of beer, liquor, kegs, boxes, and supplies when needed Strong attention to detail with stocking, cleaning, and inventory Friendly personality and good customer service skills Able to multitask between guests, cleaning, prep, and deliveries Must be available for daytime weekday shifts Basset certification preferred, or willingness to obtain one Food Handler certification preferred, or willingness to obtain one What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who understands that a strong daytime bartender helps the whole business run better.
