Be sure to follow our social channels for seasonal specials, rotating cocktail selections, special events, and unique pop-ups! Bartenders mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses & bar utensils & maintaining a clean, organized bar area. They have extensive knowledge of common drinks, which they use to recommend drinks to customers, prepare cocktails, pour beers and properly decant wines. Bartenders may also entertain customers who sit at the bar and provide excellent customer service while filling drink orders for other customers and servers.

Age Requirement:

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to meet the legal requirements for facilitating the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Job Duties:

Prepare drinks, bar beverages, and cocktails for guests according to company standards. Stay updated on menu options, daily specials, and any deviations. Make drink and food recommendations. Continuously expand knowledge of drink options, pairings, wines, beers, and liquors. Stay informed about product changes, dietary ingredients, and allergens. Greet guests, employees, managers, and owners professionally. Exhibit strong time management skills, assess needs, and prioritize tasks. Follow alcohol service policies, including checking guest IDs to verify legal drinking age. Remain vigilant and assess when a guest may be overserved, both at the bar and in the dining area. Open, prepare, and close the restaurant and bar. Duties include setting tables, preparing garnishes and condiments, and cleaning floors, tables, chairs, and counters. Operate the POS system and handle assigned cash registers, including accurate cash handling and counting change. Ensure the bar area is fully stocked with necessary tools and products, and manage inventory as needed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with company and health department regulations. Safely handle and serve food. Prepare fruit juices and simple syrups. Assist with special events, photo shoots, or promotions as needed. Adhere to uniform, grooming, and appearance standards.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred (but not required) Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on positive guest interactions. Ability to remain calm and composed during busy or high-pressure situations. A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Essential Physical Functions:

Ability to speak and hear. Close and distant vision required. Frequent walking, with occasional periods of standing. May walk for extended periods or long distances. Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs. Ability to reach hands and arms in any direction and to kneel and stoop repeatedly.

Working Conditions:

Varying schedule, including evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to heat and cold from mechanical equipment. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to loud. Will work near moving or mechanical parts. May work near toxic or caustic chemicals and with fumes or airborne particles.
