Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check customers' identification to verify their age
• Adhere to all relevant food safety regulations and guidelines
• Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or disturbances
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred
• Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is a plus
• Strong hospitality skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
• Excellent sales skills to upsell and promote drink specials or menu items
• Basic understanding of retail math for inventory management purposes
• Knowledge of food service regulations and guidelines
