Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and provide personalized service that enhances their experience. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibly. Develop innovative beverage recipes and craft signature cocktails that align with current trends and guest preferences. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including special events like banquets or nightclubs. Uphold all health regulations related to food handling, alcohol service, and safety protocols within the hospitality industry. Requirements Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; ability to process transactions efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours without sacrificing quality. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; food safety certification is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations related to sales and inventory management.
