Overview:

The Night Owl at Snowy Owl is looking for experienced, established professionals looking to grow with us and join our team of positive, passionate hospitality leaders in Brewster! Dishes are brought to the table as they are ready, allowing for a continuous, flowing dining experience. We provide full service beverage and food experiences The Night Owl Way - to an established clientele base, specializing in curated wine lists, craft local beer, and elevated cocktailing and mocktails.

Qualifications Include:

• Excellent customer service
• Available at least 3 nights and/or weekends a plus
• TIPS certified and ServSafe
• At least 1 year of server or support staff experience in craft restaurants or a fast paced environment
• Proficient with POS operations or able to retain and learn
• Organized individual and proficient communication skills
• Proficient in providing wine bottle service and etiquette
• Prior barista experience is a plus, we train! By the end of your training you will be a pro!
• Comfortable adapting to seasonal menu changes and rotating wine lists
• Confident or willing to learn about wine pairing
• Astute attention to detail
• Works well in a team oriented environment
• Proficient cash management and handling
• Able to manage a small section and provide drink service to the restaurant
• Proficient multitasker Duties Include
• Providing wine and beverage service to guests, suggesting and upselling food to complement experiences
• Opening and closing cash register
• Setting and occasionally cleaning tables
• Run food and drinks to tables as needed
• Provides water service and friendly greetings at tables
• Assists with glassware polishing and pre bussing as needed
• Monitors alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to legal drinking age laws and responsible serving policies
• Has fun with the team and our guests
• Communicate clearly and kindly with staff to ensure positive guest experience and foster energetic and communicative work culture

Pay:

From $8.00 per hour
