We're looking for a friendly, personable Lounge Bartender to join our team and help create a welcoming, relaxed experience for our hotel guests. Our lounge offers a slower-paced, comfortable atmosphere—a place where guests can unwind, enjoy a thoughtfully prepared cocktail, and settle in after a day exploring the coast. This is a great opportunity for a bartender who enjoys hospitality and conversation just as much as crafting a great drink.
What You'll Do:
Provide warm, attentive service to hotel guests and visitors
Prepare beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages (cocktails soon)
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting bar area
Take food and beverage orders and process payments accurately
Make guests feel comfortable and welcome in a relaxed lounge setting
Learn and confidently describe our beverage offerings
Follow responsible alcohol service and hotel policies
Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and general bar duties
Work closely with the hotel team to provide a seamless guest experience
What We're Looking For:
Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine interest in guest service
Comfortable working independently and managing your time
Reliable, professional, and attentive to detail
Ability to create a relaxed and welcoming environment
Massachusetts alcohol service certification preferred, or willingness to get TIPS cert.
Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays
The Cove is a 21 room boutique hotel, with 2 lounge spaces (inside and outside), and open year round offering live music, group bookings, small gatherings and pop up activities
The Vibe:
This isn't a high-volume nightclub or fast-paced sports bar. Our lounge is designed to be easygoing, intimate, and coastal—a place where guests can slow down, enjoy a drink, and feel at home. If you enjoy quality hospitality, good conversation, and a more relaxed pace of service, we'd love to meet you.
