Samuel Slater's located on the shores of Webster Lake is looking to add to it's Front of the House Team. We are currently looking for an experienced server/bartender, that has a strong working knowledge of wine, spirits and beer, as well as a passion for food. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of casual fine dining experience in a fast pace environment with an understanding of hospitality and empathy towards our guests. What you'll do Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting guests and taking their orders with enthusiasm. Equipped with bar knowledge to serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, while adhering to food safety standards. Utilize Toast POS system to efficiently process orders and manage payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas to enhance the guest experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and address any guest inquiries or concerns. Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar patrons effectively during peak hours. Engage in ongoing training on menu items, brewing techniques, and food handling practices to elevate your expertise in the food industry. Experience 2+ years of previous experience in a restaurant setting is required , showcasing your ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service that leaves guests feeling valued and appreciated. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential for this role.
