Bartender Washington Street Pub $8.50 per hour + Tips Job Summary Washington Street Pub is seeking experienced, energetic, and hospitality-focused Bartenders to join our team. We are looking for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and are passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is skilled in cocktail preparation, knowledgeable about beverage service, and committed to delivering outstanding hospitality while maintaining efficiency during busy service periods. Essential Responsibilities Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with customers, building rapport, and making food and beverage recommendations. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and service standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for order entry and payment processing. Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations and food safety standards. Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to management. Assist with bar setup, event preparation, and breakdown as needed. Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while following all cash-handling procedures. Contribute to a positive team environment and support overall restaurant operations. Qualifications & Experience Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, pub, or hospitality setting required. Strong cocktail knowledge and mixology skills. Experience with inventory management and product control preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills and cash-handling experience. Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service practices. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
