JOB OVERVIEW
As a core ambassador of our hospitality experience, you will craft memorable guest moments through the seamless and engaging service of food and beverage. Your primary mission is to transform standard dining into an exceptional experience by anticipating guest needs, offering personalized recommendations, and delivering service in a warm, enthusiastic, and professional manner that consistently elevates guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Guest Engagement & Service Excellence Duties and Responsibilities:
Create Connections:
Warmly welcome and engage guests upon arrival, establishing an immediate rapport. Actively share knowledge of the menu, current promotions, and chef specials with enthusiasm to enhance their dining experience.
Proactive Guest Care:
Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests with a sense of urgency, warmth, and efficiency.
Precision and Customization:
Attentively guide guests through the ordering process. Actively listen to preferences, repeat orders for accuracy, and tailor recommendations to guest tastes.
Seamless Tech Execution:
Accurately input orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring any special dietary requests or customizations are perfectly communicated to the culinary team.
Quality Assurance & Presentation:
Retrieve orders promptly, cross-check for culinary excellence and accuracy, and deliver them to the guest with the perfect accompaniments.
Responsible Hospitality:
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with flair and sophistication, strictly adhering to federal, state, local, and company regulations.
Relationship Management:
Maintain an attentive presence on the floor, seamlessly replenishing beverages and checking in throughout the meal to genuinely gauge and elevate guest satisfaction. Upselling as a
Service:
Enthusiastically market and present dessert creations or specialty coffees, turning the end of the meal into a final, memorable highlight.
Graceful Departures:
Present the final check promptly and leave a lasting positive impression, inviting guests back for future visits.

Stage:
Ensure the service station is impeccably set up, clean, and stocked before, during, and after shifts to maintain a visually appealing environment for guests.
Consistency:
Regular, dependable attendance is vital to supporting your team and maintaining seamless service standards for our guests.

Adapt to varying schedules to reflect the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry, and actively participate in training sessions to continually sharpen your service skills.

Fully comply with all hotel safety guidelines and operational regulations to ensure a secure environment for both guests and colleagues.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
Teamwork-Driven Resetting:
Efficiently clear and reset tables with an eye for detail, ensuring the dining area remains inviting and pristine for incoming guests.
Behind-the-Scenes Prep:
Complete assigned side work, including restocking condiments and service stations, to ensure the team is always equipped to deliver uninterrupted guest service.
Impeccable Standards:
Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel products to maintain the highest levels of health, safety, and visual polish.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
The ideal candidate loves connecting with people and thrives in a vibrant, fast-paced hospitality environment. To excel in this role, you should possess:
Hospitality Mindset:
Strong foundational knowledge of food and beverage service standards, combined with an innate passion for guest relations and dining etiquette.
Product Expertise:
Deep understanding of table settings, serviceware, and menu composition to confidently guide the guest experience.
Communication Skills:
Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) to vibrantly describe menu items, capture complex orders, and engage in meaningful conversation with guests.
Charisma and Memory:
The ability to remember and passionately pitch a variety of menu items, daily specials, and curated pairings.
Physical Stamina:
The strength and agility to confidently transport large service trays (up to 30 lbs.) through a lively, crowded room continuously throughout your shift.
Technical Savvy:
Comfort operating beverage equipment, toast stations, and POS keyboards to seamlessly manage and close out guest checks.
