Days, Nights, Weekends & Holidays Join the Rush Hour Team Rush Hour NJ is looking for energetic, outgoing, and dependable Bartenders to join our team in Sayreville. Rush Hour isn't a traditional neighborhood bar. We're building a high-energy entertainment destination combining a full-service bar and restaurant, billiards, sports, comedy, live entertainment, leagues, tournaments, private events, and nightlife. We're looking for bartenders who can deliver fast, friendly service while creating the kind of atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Great people. Great vibes. Great tips. What You'll Do As a Rush Hour Bartender, you'll be responsible for providing excellent guest service while keeping up with a busy, fast-paced bar environment.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, shots, and non-alcoholic beverages Provide fast, friendly, and engaging guest service Take food and beverage orders accurately Operate the POS system and properly handle cash and credit-card transactions Maintain an organized, stocked, and clean bar Follow recipes, portion standards, and responsible alcohol-service procedures Check identification and comply with all alcohol-service requirements Maintain proper opening, running, and closing side work Restock beer, liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies Work closely with servers, barbacks, kitchen staff, and management Assist with high-volume events, tournaments, comedy shows, private parties, and nightlife Help create a welcoming, fun atmosphere for every guest Follow all sanitation, safety, and company policies What We're Looking For We're looking for people who are comfortable working in a high-energy hospitality environment and genuinely enjoy interacting with guests. Bartending experience is preferred, particularly in a busy sports bar, restaurant, nightclub, or entertainment venue. Strong candidates should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, reliable attendance, the ability to multitask, and the ability to remain composed during high-volume periods. Knowledge of common cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and responsible alcohol service is strongly preferred. Applicants must be available to work nights and weekends , including some holidays.
