Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to encourage sales and customer satisfaction Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes; communicate needs for restocking Process cash handling efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures and retail math principles Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail mixing skills and beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, craft beer, and mixology techniques Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast; ability to process transactions accurately Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a lively yet professional manner Prior experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in food service settings Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets endless opportunities to grow!
