Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS, ensuring timely delivery Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards Develop and refine beverage recipes to enhance menu offerings and guest satisfaction Manage cash handling procedures accurately, processing transactions efficiently while maintaining accountability Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food service duties when needed, supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits Experience Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong background in bartending or cocktail preparation Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of beverage recipe development, mixology techniques, wine selection, and spirits expertise Experience working in fine dining settings or catering environments is advantageous Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations professionally Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper cash handling procedures Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and cash transactions Hospitality industry experience that highlights your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
