Job Description

Pay:
$14 per hour
Job Summary:
The Lodge at Hocking College is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Part-Time Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This position involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, stockkeeping, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
 Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established standard operating procedures.  Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries about the menu and drink options.  Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning countertops, and disposing of waste properly.  Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice, to ensure efficient service.  Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service and ID verification for age restrictions.  Collaborate with front office staff and other team members to ensure a seamless experience for guests.  Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, following company policies for cash handling.  Assist in the setup and breakdown of bar functions and special events as needed.  Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required to stay updated on menu changes and service standards.
Qualifications:
 Must be at least 21 years of age.  Previous bartending or relevant experience preferred but not required.  Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage service.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.  Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.  Certification in responsible beverage service is a plus.
