Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age
• Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders

Skills:

• Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Brewing:

  Knowledge of different types of beers, wines, and cocktails, as well as their ingredients and preparation methods
• Cash handling: Experience in handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Food industry: Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food handling and safety protocols

• Bartending:

  Proficiency in mixing drinks, creating cocktails, and using bartending tools

• Toast POS:

  Experience using Toast POS system or similar point-of-sale software for order processing and payment handling
• Retail math: Basic math skills for calculating prices, making change, and managing inventory
