Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at SoHo Pittsburgh. Qualified candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences; Interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking food & beverage orders, and providing recommendations; Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the entire bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses, utensils, equipment and bar service areas. Adhering to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers, as well as, responsible alcoholic beverage service regulations and certifications; Handling cash transactions and credit paperwork accurately and responsibly, including properly processing payments and providing change; Collaborating with the kitchen staff to coordinate the delivery of food orders for customers seated at the bar; Continuosly monitoring alcohol consumption of customers to prevent over-serving and under-age drinking, prevent service to visably intoxicated persons, or prevent service to an underage person; and Staying up-to-date on current drink trends, new products, industry best practices, and just generally being a cool person who guests seeking hospitality will appreciate being at their service.

Requirements:

Two years of previous verifiable experience as a Bartender in a high volume restaurant and/or bar setting; Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods

• you must know how to make drinks in a speedy and efficient manner. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, drink recipes, and garnishments
• you must know how to properly make drinks. Proficient in basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating checks and change; Familiarity with POS systems; Ability to handle cash transactions accurately; Providing excellent customer service; Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices to ensure a clean and safe environment
