Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create memorable experiences for our guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and hospitality will help foster a lively atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and food items. Maintain a thorough knowledge of drink recipes, beverage presentation techniques, and current trends in mixology to offer personalized recommendations. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling with integrity and efficiency. Ensure compliance with all food safety standards, alcohol regulations, and responsible serving practices. Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked by monitoring inventory levels regularly. Collaborate with team members to manage busy service periods smoothly while maintaining high standards of hospitality and safety. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or similar hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing, beverage recipe development, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining excellent customer service. Experience with food handling, food safety protocols, catering events, banquet service or retail math is highly desirable. Background in hospitality industry roles including bar management or beverage service is preferred. Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences in fast-paced environments.
