As a bartender/server, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, memorizing all menus/specials, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar/dining area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. Monitor guest consumption levels and adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist with banquet services or special events as required, ensuring all guests receive top-notch service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable. Uphold food handling safety standards in accordance with health regulations. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or server in a casual-upscale restaurant or similar hospitality setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
