Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all beverages are stored according to safety standards. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling with integrity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours, including catering events or banquet functions. Skills Proven experience in bartending, mixology, or beverage service within fine dining or hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, brewing processes, and cocktail crafting techniques. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; adept at processing transactions efficiently. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders seamlessly during peak hours. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming atmospheres for diverse clientele. Ability to develop beverage recipes and stay current with industry trends in craft beer and mixology. Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, and basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
