The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in the culinary arts. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are delivered promptly and accurately. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, accurately entering them into the system. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience. Upsell menu items to increase sales while maintaining a focus on guest satisfaction. Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared according to guest specifications. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience. Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards throughout service. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations within the food industry is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required.
