This is a blended food and beverage role. The associate will typically bartend two days per week and work as a breakfast server another two days per week. Weekend availability is required. What You'll Do Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Provide warm, attentive service to hotel guests Take orders and process payments accurately Set up, serve, replenish, and break down breakfast service Assist with Bistro food preparation and service as needed Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked bar, dining, and service areas Complete opening and closing duties Follow Marriott service standards, food-safety requirements, and responsible alcohol-service procedures Work closely with the front desk and hotel team to create a welcoming guest experience What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently Must be able to work weekends Availability for approximately two bartending shifts and two breakfast-serving shifts each week Previous bartending, restaurant, hotel, or food-and-beverage experience preferred Must meet all applicable Texas requirements for serving alcoholic beverages Ability to work early mornings for breakfast shifts and scheduled bar hours Pay and Benefits $13.00 per hour Marriott associate hotel discounts at participating properties Free health insurance available for eligible full-time associates Paid time off in accordance with company policy Supportive, team-oriented hotel environment Opportunity to build experience with the Marriott brand Work location: In person Courtyard by Marriott Houston Sugar Land/Lake Pointe is an equal opportunity employer.
