Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced Bartender to join our lively team at Captain's Cove. In this role, you will craft exceptional beverages, deliver outstanding customer service, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and POS systems will ensure smooth operations across our bar and dining areas. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation Engage with guests warmly, providing personalized service that enhances their experience Manage bar inventory, including stocking supplies and tracking usage to minimize waste Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards Develop creative beverage recipes and contribute to the menu innovation process Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and drink service during busy periods Skills Extensive bartending experience with strong mixology skills and cocktail crafting expertise Proficiency in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently Knowledge of wine, spirits, craft beer, and beverage recipe development Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods Previous fine dining or nightclub experience preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and food industry calculations Join us at Captain's Cove Golf & Yacht Club where your talents will help create memorable moments for our guests while enjoying a vibrant work environment filled with opportunities for growth!
