Job Description
Job Overview Lake of the Woods Association, Inc. is seeking an experienced, skilled, and knowledgable Bartender to join our service staff at The Clubhouse on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and some Sunday evenings. The Clubhouse is a full-service restaurant operation that provides excellent service and top-notch food and beverage options to members of our very large Homeowners Association Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take their drink orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails
- Provide recommendations and upselling techniques based on customer preferences and menu offerings
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Handle cash and credit transactions utilizing POS systems.
- Ensure compliance regarding VA ABC laws and regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
Qualifications:
Previous experience bartending is required. TIPS alcohol certification is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of various types of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and drink preparation techniques Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in drink preparation and order takingJob Type:
