Job Description

Overview We are looking for an experienced and energetic Bartender to join our bar & grill team. The ideal candidate will provide friendly, efficient service, prepare and serve drinks accurately, maintain a clean and organized bar, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, mixed drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages. Take customer drink and food orders at the bar and enter orders accurately into the POS system. Provide friendly and attentive customer service. Check identification and follow all applicable alcohol service regulations. Handle cash, credit card transactions, tabs, and end-of-shift reconciliation accurately. Keep the bar area clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service. Restock liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies as needed. Monitor bar inventory and inform management when stock is running low. Follow proper pouring, portioning, and waste-control procedures. Set up the bar before shifts and complete closing duties after service. Wash and organize glassware and maintain proper sanitation standards. Assist guests with pull tabs and follow all applicable procedures for pull-tab sales and payouts. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service. Work efficiently during busy evenings, weekends, events, and high-volume shifts. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure guest orders are handled efficiently. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a bar, restaurant, or bar & grill preferred. Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and common mixed drinks. Experience using a POS system, preferably Toast POS or similar. Strong cash-handling and basic math skills. Understanding of responsible alcohol service requirements. Ability to provide excellent customer service in a busy environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to remain organized and professional during high-volume shifts. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Pull-tab experience is a plus.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
