Company Overview Herner's Hideaway is a upscale bar on the border of Wisconsin and Illinois dedicated to giving people who walk in a great experience with even greater food and drinks. Job Summary We're on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Bartender to join our amazing team for nights and weekends. In this role, you'll be mixing up drinks, serving guests with a smile, and ensuring everyone has a fantastic time. The ideal candidate is passionate, positive, and eager to create memorable experiences in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, following established standards. Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about our beverage offerings, and provide excellent customer service. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages. Process cash handling efficiently while ensuring accuracy in all transactions. Qualifications 2 years of previous experience as a bartender and in food service within the hospitality industry.
