Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits with precision and flair. Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions about menu items, and recommend drinks or dishes based on preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Process cash transactions efficiently while managing POS systems and handling cash securely. Assist in beverage recipe development and contribute creative ideas for specials or seasonal drinks. Support bar management by monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, particularly as a bartender or server in fine dining or casual settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential. Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and spirits experience. Familiarity with beverage recipe development and brewing or brewing-related experience is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and drink orders efficiently during busy hours. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members while maintaining a positive attitude. Basic math skills for retail math, food industry calculations, and cash processing; food safety certification is preferred. Previous experience with banquet service or catering is advantageous but not required.
