Now Hiring Lead Bartender Big Horn Sports Bar & Grill | Big Horn, Wyoming Big Horn Sports Bar & Grill is looking for an experienced, dependable Lead Bartender to run an organized bar shift and deliver warm, attentive service to bar and bar dining guests. This person will lead by example, support the team during busy service, and take ownership of daily bar setup, inventory, and closing. Responsibilities Set up the bar each day, including stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and service supplies. Serve bar and bar dining guests; take accurate food and drink orders and coordinate with the kitchen. Prepare and serve consistent cocktails and other beverages according to recipes, portions, and house standards. Use the point of sale system confidently for orders, tabs, payments, discounts, and end of shift reconciliation; help coworkers resolve routine issues. Monitor inventory, rotate stock, communicate shortages, and prepare or place orders as directed by management. Coach and support bartenders and servers, communicate priorities, and keep service moving during busy periods. Check identification, follow responsible alcohol service practices, and respond appropriately to intoxication or guest concerns. Maintain a clean, stocked workstation and follow health, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Handle cash and card payments accurately and report discrepancies or equipment problems promptly. Close the bar each evening, including cleaning and restocking, securing product, completing checkout, and preparing for the next shift. What We Are Looking For At least 1-2 years of lead bartending experience and 1-2 years of serving experience. Current TIPS certification required. Extensive point of sale experience, including order entry, payments, and closing reports. Strong cocktail knowledge, guest service, organization, and clear communication. Dependability, sound judgment, and the ability to lead a shift while working alongside the team.
