The Bag Staff team plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional golf experience for members and guests. This position is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and personalized service by assisting with golf bags, carts, and practice facilities while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment consistent with country club standards.
Responsibilities:
Greet members and guests promptly and professionally upon arrival and departure Load and unload golf bags from vehicles and carts with care Clean, stage, and store golf carts; ensure carts are fully prepared for play Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bag room, cart barn, and staging areas Assist with range operations, including picking, washing, and restocking golf balls as needed Monitor cart usage and report maintenance or safety issues to Golf Operations leadership Provide basic course and facility information to members and guests Support golf tournaments, outings, and special events as needed Uphold club policies, safety procedures, and service standards at all times Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Experience:
Preferred:
Customer service or golf experience a plus but not required
Preferred:
Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership
Preferred:
One (1) - Three (3) years' experience in progressive golf course maintenance
Schedule:
Days TBD Hours vary based on workload Flexibility required to work early mornings, weekends, holidays or extended hours during peak golf season
Compensation:
$16.94 per hour

Vary temperatures based on outdoor working environment/conditions

Physical abilities: Ability to lift up to 50lbs; Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time through shift; Walking on a variety of surfaces Strong communication
