No Position Summary :
Enhances the guest experience above and beyond expectations by creating and maintaining a fun and pleasant environment in the village. Greets the guest, provides direction and assistance, implement village activities, host snowshoe hikes, host village campfires/ marshmallow roasts, and enhance the guest experience beyond the general expectations of a resort. Must be available to work
Weekends and Holidays Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities :
Host snowshoe hikes and maintain snowshoe fleet Help to provide mountain activities which can include campfires, event support, crafts, movies, etc. Including carrying equipment to set these activities up (ie. firewood). Provide information about the mountain area as well as the services of Schweitzer Meet and greet guests at their arrival, help with directions, information, a welcoming smile and assistance with gear if necessary. Provide village communication, direction and support to staff and guests. Assist parking staff by providing direction to guests exiting vehicles Oversee general village presentation including removal of snow from village furniture, resetting safety rope lines, tidiness.

  • Standing and walking for entirety of shift. Ability to Snowshoe. Exposure to extreme outdoor elements. Will lift 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds rarely. Additional
  • Strong guest service skills.
Education/Related Experience :
Minimum education required
  • English communication. Minimum time in related position
  • Experience in snowshoeing, guided hikes, or other guiding jobs preferred.
