Golf Course Ranger Highland Country Club - 3.6 Fort Thomas, KY Job Details Part-time | Seasonal $11 - $16 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work experience In-person customer service Attention to detail Golf cart assistance Conflict management Patience Full Job Description Position Summary The Golf Course Ranger plays a key role in maintaining an exceptional golf experience for members and guests. This position is responsible for monitoring pace of play, enforcing course policies, and providing outstanding customer service while ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and well-managed environment on the course. Key Responsibilities Monitor pace of play to ensure rounds are completed within club guidelines Politely and professionally communicate with golfers regarding pace, course etiquette, and club policies Assist members and guests with on-course needs, directions, and general support Enforce golf course rules, including cart regulations, dress code (if applicable), and safety standards Report any course issues (damage, maintenance concerns, safety hazards) to golf operations staff Provide first-line response to minor incidents or emergencies and contact appropriate staff when needed Coordinate with the Golf Shop and Starter to manage tee sheet flow and course traffic Maintain a visible and approachable presence on the course at all times Qualifications Previous golf knowledge required; familiarity with golf etiquette and rules preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset Ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully and professionally Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and drive a golf cart for extended periods Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred Traits Friendly, approachable demeanor Calm under pressure and good at conflict resolution Professional appearance and attitude consistent with a private club environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage Golf privileges (based on club policy)

$11.00 - $16.00 per hour
