Ben & Jerry's at Fashion Island is looking for an energetic and dependable Catering Assistant to join our team! As a Catering Assistant, you'll help bring the Ben & Jerry's experience to birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, community gatherings, and other celebrations throughout Orange County. You'll assist with preparing orders, setting up events, serving guests, and making sure every catering experience is fun, friendly, and unforgettable. Responsibilities Help prepare and organize ice cream, toppings, supplies, and equipment for catering events. Load, transport, set up, and break down catering equipment. Scoop ice cream and provide excellent customer service at events. Create a fun, welcoming, and professional experience for every guest. Keep the catering area, equipment, and supplies clean and organized. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Ben & Jerry's operating standards. Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and event contacts. Assist with catering inquiries, order details, and follow-up when needed. Represent Ben & Jerry's positively at community and business events. Support the Fashion Island Scoop Shop when there are no scheduled catering events. What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with groups of people. Dependable, organized, and able to arrive on time. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift and carry catering supplies. Previous catering, food-service, sales, or customer-service experience is helpful, but we are happy to train the right person. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
