Job Description
Overview Join our small family business as a Food Truck Staff member, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and service to our customers. We work on Navy base and are looking for someone to join our crew.
Mornings from 9-1 pm with weekends off including mondays. This position requires a passion for food and customer service, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As part of our food truck team, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, managing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. We are a small business fanily owned and are in need of an extra pair of hands. Would be helpful if individual has experience in food and grill and can help in many ways. Responsibilities Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate POS systems, including Clover, for processing customer orders efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any concerns. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck and kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling procedures. Assist with food handling, and ensuring a smooth workflow during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery. Skills Strong culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and handling. Familiarity with POS systems Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proven sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items. Exceptional customer service abilities to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within the food industry. Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
