Full-Time Schedule:

Sunday-Thursday, 8am-4pm Job Summary At Thomas Cuisine, we believe food has the power to transform lives. As a Vending Route Driver & Café Attendant , you'll play an important role in supporting food service operations across multiple campus locations. You'll safely transport fresh grab-and-go products between West Valley College and Mission College, stock and maintain Byte vending machines, track inventory and food safety records, and assist café guests during non-delivery hours. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying organized, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring quality and food safety standards are met every step of the way. What You'll Do Safely transport fresh grab-and-go food items and retail products from West Valley College to Mission College. Maintain accurate food safety logs and temperature records at pickup and delivery. Stock, refill, merchandise, and monitor Byte vending machines with food, beverages, and retail products. Track inventory and accurately document transferred, stocked, and sold items. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to leadership. Rotate products and monitor expiration dates to ensure food quality and food safety compliance. Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of vending machines, storage areas, and workspaces. Follow established food handling, transportation, sanitation, and food safety procedures. Work independently while effectively managing time, priorities, and daily routes. Assist café cashiers and front-of-house operations when not performing delivery or vending responsibilities. Provide friendly and professional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and guests. Support café stocking, merchandising, cleaning, and other operational needs as assigned. Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and ensure safe vehicle operation at all times. Follow all company safety policies, traffic regulations, and food safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required . Previous experience in food service, delivery, vending, retail, cashiering, or customer service preferred. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and food safety practices. Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks. Positive attitude with a commitment to hospitality and teamwork. Ability to accurately track inventory and complete required documentation. Strong communication and customer service skills. ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handler Card preferred, or ability to obtain. Ability to successfully complete required background screening. Physical and Sensory Requirements This position requires the ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the workday while transporting, stocking, and merchandising grab-and-go products. Team members must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull food items and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as repeatedly enter and exit vehicles while making deliveries between campus locations. The role requires sufficient visual acuity and hearing to safely operate a motor vehicle, navigate delivery routes, stock Byte vending machines accurately, and maintain awareness of surrounding conditions. Candidates must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, adapt to changing operational demands, and perform customer-facing duties within the café while maintaining a professional demeanor and commitment to food safety standards.
