Role Summary:

The Assistant Director of Food Safety & Quality is responsible for maintaining and improving food safety, food quality, training execution, and operational excellence within the restaurant. This role develops Shift Leads, Trainers, and Team Members while ensuring Chick-fil-A standards are consistently upheld. The Assistant Director of Food Safety & Quality works closely with the Executive Director and leadership team to create a culture of accountability, cleanliness, consistency, and excellence in the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development Coach and encourage Shift Leads, Trainers, and Team Members Work alongside trainers and team members to reinforce operational standards Enforce Pathway standards and expectations Provide consistent feedback & accountability Identify future leaders and assist in building the BOH leadership bench Assist in identifying and developing Trainers Provide feedback to the Training Director regarding new hires and Trainer performance Assist in developing Shift Leads to become well-rounded in restaurant operations Support Shift Lead growth in food safety, food quality, and kitchen leadership Food Safety Hold the team accountable to Chick-fil-A food safety standards Maintain a Food Safety score of 1 Ensure all food safety procedures are followed consistently Partner with leadership during EcoSure and Health Department walks Monitor and reinforce sanitation and cleanliness expectations Monitor ComplianceMate Food Quality Ensure 1 RSA is completed every shift Maintain a QIV score goal of 95% or higher Participate in QIV walks and assessments Analyze QIV results and create action plans for improvement Ensure food quality standards are consistently followed Support Taste, Temperature, and Fast Service CEM goals in reaching Top 20% Kitchen Operations Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve kitchen flow and speed Partner with BOH leadership to ensure each shift sets up the next shift for success Maintain consistent checklist completion and accountability Promote a positive and team-oriented kitchen culture Oversee prep execution and kitchen readiness Assist with catering execution to ensure quality and operational flow are maintained

Requirements:
