Join our team as a Food Service Worker and help provide exceptional dining services to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Duties Prepare fresh food items such as sandwiches, salads, fruit cups, and other grab-and-go options. Assemble patient meal trays accurately according to dietary requirements. Load meal carts and help ensure timely delivery of meals to patient units. Verify patient identity using a two-step identification process before delivering meals. Monitor and record food temperatures to maintain food safety standards. Label, date, and rotate food products following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and removing trash. Support daily kitchen operations as part of a collaborative food service team. Qualifications Food service, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety. Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
