Schedule:
Part-Time, Hours vary from 11am-7pm. Server - Make Mealtime Meaningful at Our Assisted Living Community! We're looking for a friendly, attentive Server to join our assisted living community dining team. In this role, you'll create a warm and welcoming experience for residents by serving meals with care, ensuring satisfaction, and keeping the dining area clean and inviting. You'll also work closely with our Dietary Director and kitchen staff to communicate resident preferences and follow dietary guidelines. What You'll Do:
1. Dining Service & Resident Experience
Greet residents warmly and assist with seating as needed.
Serve meals accurately and efficiently in accordance with dietary requirements.
Ensure all meals are presented in an appealing manner and at appropriate temperatures.
Provide refills and second helpings when appropriate. 2. Sanitation & Cleanliness
Maintain cleanliness of dining area before, during, and after meals.
Follow infection control and food safety guidelines.
Properly handle and dispose of food waste and soiled items.
Assist with dishwashing and restocking clean tableware. 3. Communication & Teamwork
Relay resident preferences and feedback to kitchen staff and Dietary Director.
Work collaboratively with cooks and fellow servers to ensure smooth meal service.
Assist with special events and meal service changes as directed. 4. Resident Support
Provide respectful and dignified assistance to residents with mobility, dietary, or personal needs.
Report resident concerns or changes in condition to appropriate team members.
Support residents in having a positive dining experience.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
Experience in food service or senior living preferred.
Certifications:
Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Skills:

Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
