$13.50 - $16/hour + $1.00/hour Weekend Shift Differential To Stand Out After applying, email Nikky Vogelgesang at nikky.vogelgesang@hhcare.net with a brief introduction. Tell us what you're doing now, any food service or customer service experience you have, and what you're looking for in a part-time position. Like Food Service, But Not the Restaurant Chaos? The dinner rush. A line out the door. Customers waiting for tables. Working until midnight. Never knowing exactly when your shift is going to end. Food service doesn't have to look like that. At Nagel Assisted Living in Waconia, we're hiring a Part-Time Dietary Aide to help provide an enjoyable dining experience for our senior living residents. You'll still get the parts of food service that many people enjoy: staying active, working with a team, serving meals, talking with people, and making someone's experience better. Just in a very different environment than your typical restaurant. Why Consider Senior Living Dining? $13.50-$16/hour based on experience. Additional $1.00/hour Weekend Shift Differential . Part-Time schedule. Every-other-weekend rotation. No chasing tips or relying on customers to determine your income. No packed restaurant waiting room or drive-thru line. Work with a consistent team and resident population. Gain food service experience in a healthcare environment. Training and opportunities to grow within Sunflower Communities. A position where being friendly and dependable matters just as much as restaurant experience. Looking for a Part-Time Job That Fits Your Life? Maybe you're a student looking for additional hours. Maybe you already work during the week and want a predictable second job. Maybe you're retired but would still enjoy getting out of the house, staying active, and working with people. Or maybe you've spent enough time in restaurants and want to try something different. You don't need senior living experience to get started. If you're dependable, comfortable around people, willing to learn, and aren't afraid to jump in and help, we'd like to hear from you. What Does a Dietary Aide Do? You'll help our culinary team keep meals and dining service running smoothly by: Preparing and serving meals to residents. Providing friendly, attentive dining service. Setting up and resetting the dining room. Learning resident preferences and dietary needs. Clearing tables and assisting with dishes. Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and dining areas. Following food safety and sanitation procedures. Safely operating appropriate kitchen and food preparation equipment. Communicating resident concerns to appropriate team members. Pitching in wherever needed to help the dining team have a successful meal service. Your Experience May Already Translate Have you worked at a: Restaurant? Coffee shop? Grocery store? Fast-food restaurant? Cafeteria? Hotel? Retail store? You may already have exactly the type of experience we're looking for. If you know how to provide good customer service, keep an area clean and organized, communicate with coworkers, and show up ready to work, we can help teach you the rest. Previous food service, hospitality, or senior living experience is certainly welcomed, but the right attitude and reliability matter just as much. Trade the Restaurant Rush for Something Different You can still work around food. You can still stay busy. You can still interact with people. But instead of wondering how many tables are waiting or how late you'll be there tonight, you can do it in a senior living community where meals follow a routine and your work serves a meaningful purpose. Sometimes a different environment makes all the difference. If you're looking for a part-time food service position in Waconia with predictable weekend hours, additional weekend pay, and a welcoming senior living environment , we'd love to meet you. Apply today and email Nikky Vogelgesang at nikky.vogelgesang@hhcare.net to introduce yourself and let us know you applied.
