Part-Time Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Job Description

Part-Time Assistant Food & Beverage Supervisor Canebrake Country Club is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Part-Time Assistant Food & Beverage Superviso r

• to support daily dining and event operations. This position is ideal for a restaurant professional who enjoys being on the floor, leading a team, and building relationships with members and guests.

Schedule:

• Part-Time Approximately 15-20 hours per week

Availability:

Must have evening and weekend availability Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a corporate or structured restaurant environment Previous supervisory, shift-lead, or management experience preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Professional, polished, and comfortable engaging with members Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in high-pressure situations Dependable and willing to take an active, hands-on role during service Key Responsibilities Supervise restaurant and bar shifts while maintaining service standards Lead and support front-of-house employees throughout service Monitor the dining room, bar, and event spaces to ensure smooth operations Engage with members to build relationships and ensure a positive experience Professionally address and defuse member or staff conflicts Assist with resolving service issues and member concerns in the moment Help maintain staff accountability, appearance, sidework, and service expectations Communicate operational concerns and shift updates to the Food & Beverage Manager What We're Looking For This is a hands-on leadership position, not an office-based management role. The ideal candidate is confident on the floor, understands restaurant operations, anticipates problems before they affect the members' experience, and knows how to coach employees while maintaining a positive and professional environment. Country club experience is a plus but not required. A strong background in structured restaurant operations, hospitality, and guest recovery is highly valued.

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
