Corporate Services Job Summary:
The Corporate Cafeteria Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting dining experience while supporting daily food service operations. This role oversees the preparation, stocking, presentation, and sanitation of the salad bar and self-service food stations while also performing utility functions, including dishwashing, kitchen sanitation, receiving deliveries, and supporting catering operations.
Principal Duties:
Prepare fresh ingredient items for Salad Bar, to include items needed for Catering functions Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently. Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and food service equipment. Maintain inventory at cafeteria through various processes, order items as needed, verify receipt of items, and stock inventory upon arrival. Support departmental and corporate events when needed, to include, buffet set up and maintenance. Operate and perform basic daily maintenance and clean all servery equipment in accordance with the National Restaurant Association's rules, training, and safety guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and adapt as needed.
Essential Functions:
Ability to work well individually, as well as, in a team environment Strong communication and customer service skills Must wear uniform as assigned, including non-slip shoes, hat or hairnets Ability to learn FSSA process and procedures and demonstrate on a daily basis Overtime required at times Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment Ability to learn and demonstrate all Wawa Safety and Quality Assurance processes and procedures. Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally and grasping firmly Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors frequently throughout a shift: reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling and pushing Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repetitively Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistance from team Must be able to push up to 100 lbs frequently
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 2+ years' experience in food services preferred Current ServeSafe certification preferred, if not current, must have the ability to obtain within first year of employment Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Wawa will provide reasonable accommodation to complete an application upon request, consistent with applicable law.
