Pay Rate:

$11 per hour 7 or 8 hours (unpaid meal break)

Primary Purpose:

Prepare and serve appropriate quantities of food to meet menu requirements. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and safety practices.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Texas Department of State Health Services Food Handler Certification must be obtained prior to the employee's first scheduled shift in a kitchen. Employees are expected to complete certification within two weeks of hire.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to work at a fast pace for duration of shift Ability to lift 30 lbs.; pantry, freezer, cooler and chemical items and all items in the kitchen used for production in preparing, cooking, serving, cleaning Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school campus kitchens, as assigned Pleasant demeanor, ability to work with staff, parents and children at all times during your shift Ability to work in a team environment
