Breakfast Attendant Immediate Supervisor:
Assistant General Manager Major Function:
Responsible for prompt, courteous service to all customers, especially those eating in the great room at all times. Maintenance of the great room area for breakfast and/or dinner shifts.
Essential Functions:
Provides the highest quality of service to the customer at all times. Greets guests in a prompt and courteous manner. Performs a combination of duties including Breakfast Host & Social Reception Host in an efficient, quiet and effective manner which facilities food service and thereby provides a positive impression for the guest. Carries & Cleans dirty dishes & silverware from breakfast room to Pantry. Supplies service bar with food, coffee, plates, etc. Vacuum's, cleans tables & chairs on a daily basis. Cleans and polishes shelves of service bar and equipment such as coffee urns, juice machines and milk dispensers. Assist the General Manager with maintaining proper food inventory. Cleans pantry regularly to ensure that all health and sanitation standards are maintained; notifies maintenance engineer of any needed repairs. Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with the appropriate garnish. Asks for age verification of all guests unless it is obvious they are of legal drinking age. Do not serve guests that are intoxicated. Has a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures. Is aware of new potential sales contacts through guest interaction and report the information to the General Manager. Wears proper uniform and name tag at all times in accordance with the Standards of Personal Appearance. Through training of service, continues to practice skills learned. Is able to move items weighing up to 30 pounds. Practices safety standards at all times. Adheres to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company, including but not limited to, those contained in the Employee Handbook.
