In this dynamic role, you'll play a key part in enriching the lives of our residents through activities, dining services, transportation, and housekeeping. Your contributions will help create a welcoming and engaging environment in our assisted living community.

Rotating Weekends Responsibilities:
Activities:
Assist in developing and implementing social activities that support residents' social, physical, and mental well-being Collaborate on planning and publishing the monthly activity calendar and newsletter Motivate residents to participate in activities, considering their individual abilities and limitations Supervise and participate in activities, including setup, execution, and cleanup Handle phone calls, greet residents and visitors, and respond to needs for assistance Track resident attendance to activities using
PointClickCare Dining Services:
Set or reset tables according to layout standards Greet residents, take orders promptly, and review the menu, including special items of the day Serve meals efficiently and clear dirty dishes in a timely manner Perform dish-washing duties and utilize PointClickCare to track resident meals
Transportation:
Assist residents with entering and exiting the community vehicle Provide limited assistance at destinations as needed Maintain cleanliness, fuel levels, and perform regular safety checks on the vehicle Coordinate maintenance appointments for the community vehicle
Housekeeping:
Clean resident apartments and common areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces Identify and report maintenance issues Manage cleaning supplies and ensure safe use of chemicals
Miscellaneous:
Support other departments as needed and maintain a clean work area Report defective equipment and safety hazards Participate in staff training and uphold professional confidentiality and professionalism
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment Familiarity with PointClickCare or willingness to learn Experience in a similar role is a plus If you're excited about making a positive impact in our residents' lives and contributing to a supportive community, we would love to hear from you!
