Seafood Bar Busser General Position Summary:
Resets tables, keeps dining area clean and presentable. Provides assistance to guests as needed.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Provides Clearly Superior Customer Service at all times Replenishes guests' non-alcoholic beverages, etc. Sets and resets tables and keeps surrounding area clean and presentable, including cleaning menus, replenishing salt and pepper and other table items Takes inventory of supplies when necessary Assists other Food & Beverage personnel as needed Prepares silverware for the next seating Keeps the floor areas clean, free of debris and presentable at all times
Secondary Functions:
All other duties as assigned
Specific Job Skills:
Able to carry out tasks at direction of others Superior customer service Able to communicate well with both guests and employees in a positive manner Maintains a well groomed appearance Able to work well with others; cooperative and friendly Education and/or
Experience:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Minimum age requirement is 16 years of age. Food handler's permit required.
Job Conditions:
Working conditions include working in the Dining Room during busy times of the day and night, smoky, noisy and crowded conditions. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions, evenings, week-ends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. while standing, twisting or bending. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Manual and finger dexterity for handling serving dishes and other equipment is required.
