Responsibilities Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat using professional knife techniques and equipment Ensure all meat products are handled safely, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and storage areas to uphold hygiene standards Follow proper food handling procedures during all stages of meat processing and storing Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies or quality concerns Requirements Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments with a focus on meat cutting or butchery Strong knife skills and expertise in meat cutting techniques Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation regulations within the food industry Prior experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with precision Familiarity with food handling procedures and storing standards to ensure product quality
