We are a family-owned Italian restaurant looking for a passionate and dependable Brick Oven Wood-Fired Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. We take pride in serving authentic Italian food made with quality ingredients, traditional techniques, and plenty of heart. The ideal candidate has experience working with a wood-fired or brick oven and understands the importance of consistency, timing, and quality in every pizza that leaves the kitchen. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas in a traditional brick oven/wood-fired oven Stretch and shape pizza dough by hand Prepare toppings, sauces, cheeses, and other ingredients Maintain proper oven temperature and manage the wood fire Monitor cooking times to ensure pizzas are perfectly baked Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation Follow food safety and sanitation standards Work efficiently during busy dinner and weekend services Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers Assist with general kitchen duties as needed Qualifications Must be able to work Tuesday through Sunday, 4:00pm-9:00pm Previous pizza-making or professional kitchen experience preferred Experience with a wood-fired or brick pizza oven is a strong plus Knowledge of dough handling, pizza preparation, and oven management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment A positive attitude and willingness to learn What We Offer A welcoming, family-oriented work environment Competitive pay based on experience The opportunity to work with a team that takes pride in authentic Italian food If you love pizza, enjoy working with your hands, and want to be part of a family-owned restaurant where quality and hospitality matter, we'd love to meet you!
